I was born in Israel and spent most of my life living with my family in a small village in the north of Israel called Shorashim. After living in Europe for 4 years I came back to Israel 2 years ago and I live in Tel Aviv since. I believe that the most difficult part of my career is the uncertainty of where will I live in the future, I already lived and worked in few different countries and I still don’t know where I want to eventually settle down. Admittedly, In the everyday life I have so many sources of inspiration. Inspiration meets me everywhere, but my biggest drive to create usually comes from an emotion or a story of myself that I want to express. Sometimes it is someone else’s emotion or story that I find interesting or touching that I would like to capture. There’s a quote by Cheryl Strayed that I really like that says “There’s always a sunrise and always a sunset and it’s up to you to choose to be there for it, put yourself in the way of beauty”. Like I said before, it’s the emotion I look for in my work and usually I will try to capture it through the expression of the subject.
