Head On Photo Awards represent an Australian and global selection of the best work from emerging and established photographers across four categories: Portrait, Landscape, Environmental and Student. All genres, interpretation and styles are eligible.

All photographs are judged anonymously to ensure that the work is selected solely on merit and not influenced by the photographer's or subject’s celebrity. The judging panel comprises leaders in the Australian and international photography communities, representing curators, picture editors, photographers, educators and other industry professionals.
