Blackout Tuesday

June 2, 2020

Aint–Bad is not perfect. As an organization, we have not always used our platform to the best of its ability. We recognize the need for voices to be heard and for change. We are listening, looking, learning, and we are striving to be part of that change.

During this time in our country, we want to ensure that the voices of those who scream are heard, and the fists of fighters are seen. We are supportive of all protestors who risk their lives and freedoms to advocate for a better tomorrow. We are supportive of those who will not allow another George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, or Tamir Rice. Racial injustice, police brutality, and targeting have been a pattern in black communities for too long. 1,022 people have been killed by police in the past year and black Americans are shot at a disproportionate rate in the United States.  The time is up, and the time for change is today, tomorrow, and until black lives are valued. For those who are not able to march alongside, your voice can be heard through donations and using your platforms to support. BLACK VOICES, BLACK CULTURE, AND BLACK LIVES MATTER.
