Katie Shapiro was born in Los Angeles in 1983 where she currently lives and works. She received her BFA in Photography from the California Institute of the Arts in 2007 and is currently working towards her MFA at UC Irvine.
Here and There
Here and There is an ongoing series of images that I take while traveling. They are mostly made on the West coast and Southwestern parts of the US. They are fluid landscapes that are made to capture the beauty of the land and moments I find solace in.
