Alex Cretey Systermans is a French fine art and editorial photographer based in Paris. He graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure dí Art, Villa Arson, Nice (Fr), with a DNSEP (MFA) With honors. As an editorial photographer, Alex is a regular contributor to significant clients such as The New-York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, Le Monde, enRoute Magazine, Air France Magazine, etc. Today we take a look at his series titled, Christmas Everyday.
Christmas Everyday
Christmas Everyday series is a part of long term project I’m working on about small islands and insularity. It was shot on Christmas Island, Australia, in August 2012.
Alex Cretey Systermans is an active member of Strange.rs International Photography Collective. He is represented in France by Interlinks image and in the United Kingdom by Swerve Represents. Selektor, a monographic publication with his work was featured along with an essay by Loic Thisse In June 2014. Alex is currently working on his first book.
