Coasting
“Stephen first began documenting the North American landscape in 2011 and has since spent months traveling throughout several states and provinces. The third and most recent example of this concept is his project Coasting. Shot over the course of one month in the summer of 2013, it records time spent meandering down the West coast with no particular plan or destination. The series showcases a very diverse American landscape, while also revealing the inevitable changes brought about by perusing a more nomadic lifestyle.”
