Queen City of the Plains
When I arrived in Nebraska City for a residency at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center, I immediately observed differences in scale, light, and sound. I spent a lot of time imagining a different kind of life and wondering what it would mean to grow up in this place. I loved going to football games, car shows and parades, as well as exploring the quiet storefronts on main street.
