A New York native and SVA alum, Mark is an illustrator, art director, and designer. Mark’s work was most recently awarded The Society of Illustrators gold medal in editorial illustration, the 120-year-old institution’s highest honor, and has been recognized by American Illustration, The New York Times Most Notable Illustration, AIGA, Print, HOW, and Graphis. Pernice’s work is included in MoMA’s permanent library and in 2010 his Photo Booth Mask project gained viral attention with over 1.5 million hits in the project’s first 3 months garnering press worldwide. Mark also runs the multi-disciplinary design studio OOO alongside creative directing partner, Elana Schlenker.
