I’M NOT GREAT WITH NAMES BUT I’M PRETTY GOOD WITH FACES

These statements are difficult to write, I’m afraid. I’m not quite a street photographer, but more that pest that scours every waking mundane scene with a camera to discretely capture a partial scene that hints at a larger picture to be imagined.

I don’t often photograph faces, instead focusing on the language of our unconscious bodies. Nothing is staged, just poached from a living still life

This sounds fairly high register, but really I just dig shooting stills that look like single frames lifted from a movie you can’t quite remember but it’s on the tip of your tongue.

Thank you for the opportunity. Your publication is rad.

Best,

Tracy
