Matthew Peterson

Matthew Peterson is a Vermont based photographer whose work stems from a desire to explore new communities and niche groups in Contemporary America.

The Granite State is a self published zine, a compilation of images made over the course of 4 years while living in Manchester, New Hampshire. Matt’s images remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. His images stimulate curiosity, they assume nothing, asking more questions than they answer. He captures memorable moments, images of better times, of bizarre, beautiful, and unexpected moments, patched together to tell a wonderful open-ended narrative true to his experience in Manchester.
