In a digital age, we are constantly connected and seeking instant gratification; others however, have returned to the magic of the instant film photography. With this process, there are no do-overs; an image is created straight from the camera and develops in the palm of your hand. Today, many contemporary artists are looking again to the instant film as a viable option for image making. Whether your purpose is instant gratification or to disconnect from cumbersome equipment, we want to see how you are embracing the instant image in a contemporary world. This traveling exhibit will be in Atlanta from October 1st to October 31st. The opening reception will be October 6th from 6pm – 9pm at The Atlanta School of Photography, with drinks and food provided.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that we will be selling copies of photographer Kyler Zeleny’s forthcoming book, The Found Polaroid Project, as well as original polaroids by photographer Richard McCabe.
