Clara Mokri is a photographer from Los Angeles, California. She attended Yale University, where she was recruited to play division 1 basketball. The political science major was a reporter and editor for The Globalist, Yale’s International Affairs publication, and was distinguished as a Yale Journalism Scholar upon graduation, in May 2018. She was also the president of the Yale Photography Society, and held an administrative position in the undergraduate darkroom at the School of Art. Formerly the assistant photo editor at Vice, she now works in the photo department at TIME Magazine.

This is a project about the unusual details overlooked in our day-to-day life. I find excitement in the mundane, and intrigue in the underwhelming.
