Matt Wisniewski is a collage artist seeking to expose ordinary beauty by showcasing it in unfamiliar contexts. He is most known for creating and popularizing a style of digital collage. Wisniewski has spent the last 10 years producing portrait collage that uses the human body as a canvas to highlight the beauty that surrounds us. His work has been featured in The Atlantic, Harper’s Magazine, and on the walls of a number of W Hotels. Wisniewski is based in Brooklyn, NY.
With his body collage, Wisniewski showcases the human body in a way intended to convince the viewer that the human body is not inherently a sex object and that it’s acceptable to appreciate the beauty of gender the viewer isn’t sexually attracted.
