Sandra Madelane is a London-based fine art photographer. After completing a BA in Fashion Photography at the University of the Arts London and taking some time out from the art world, she has recently picked up the camera to create again. The flower series started with the idea of capturing everyday beauty. In a world closed down by the pandemic, she resorted to the use of available materials as foraging for wildflowers. Having always had a play with the idea of gravity, suspending items mid-air, submerging flowers in a water mass was worth of exploring. The end result is a delicate portrait of nature.
