Eugenia Loli

Eugenia Loli is a filmmaker and modern vintage collage artist originally from Greece and is now living in California. Before becoming a full time artist she worked in the Technology sector. Her decision to focus on her art has allowed her to build new and exciting worlds in her collages. With the help of a title, the works often include a teasing visual narrative as if they’re a still frame of a surreal movie. Viewers are invited to make up the movie’s plot in their mind.

“Eugenia is honest when she says that there is no specific method for making her collages. She starts with a base image that is usually found in the depths of the internet and then starts to build around it trying many ideas and compositions until she finds the one that works. Her inspiration comes from a variety of other artists working in this style.”
