Cody Cobb is an American photographer that is currently based in Seattle, Washington. He was born in Shreveport, LA and grew up in Blanchard, LA, a small town to the north. Cobb is a nomadic photographer, scouring the United States in search of the realistic landscapes. His photography attempts to capture portraits of the Earth’s surface, devoid of human interaction and interference. Many would compare his work to the masters painters of the Hudson River School. If the Earth where a canvas, Cobb’s photographic skills would most certainly be the paint and the brushstroke. Today Cobb is wandering the American West and we are delitghted to share his recent series, Darkness in the Range of Light .
